CRASH, the construction industry’s charity, helps homelessness organisations and hospices with their construction projects and this Christmas they are asking for your help.
Since 1996, CRASH has been constructing places that care for people when they’re at their most vulnerable. By uniting the construction industry, CRASH channels the professional expertise and construction products of companies to transform hostels, day centres and move-on accommodation for homeless people and hospices for children and adults needing end-of-life care throughout the UK.
Last year, with the help of your generous donations, CRASH proudly supported 31 homelessness and hospice construction projects and with the support of some of the best companies in the industry, can help even more!
This year CRASH launched the ‘Help keep the lights on’ appealing to companies to generously donate to the cause. Not only will you be helping some of the most vulnerable people with your donation, but CRASH will also provide your company with a range of bundles to say thank you.
CRASH have devised three donation tiers to help guide you – or you can donate an amount that’s personal to you.
For a donation of £600, your company will receive an animated e-card that can be sent out to your network and your company name will also be included on CRASH’s ‘thank you’ communications.
For donation of £1,200 you will receive everything listed above, plus your company logo in the communications and, for a £2,000 donation your company will become a ‘CRASH Christmas Champion’, which puts your company pride of place on all ‘thank you’ communications.
The Christmas Card Appeal has been an important fundraiser for CRASH since 2000 to help those who really need it at a particularly isolating time of year. In 2020 they hit a record of £96,000 worth of donations and this year they are hoping to be able to beat this, but that will only be possible with your help.
As an industry, we know that our environments have an enormous impact on the way people feel and behave, this is especially true for those who are homeless or receiving end-of-life care. That is why CRASH are urging construction companies to come together and help their vital cause, because together we can construct places that care for people now, and for years to come.
