Launching our latest report – Deep Insights

by Tom Hall

Barbour ABI launches new quarterly report diving deep into the construction industry outlook

This month, Barbour ABI will launch the first in its new report series named Deep Insights. The aim is to look deeper into each sector to give you a better understanding of trends at the subsector level underneath the headlines that we provide in our monthly Snap Analysis.

At the end of each quarter, the construction industry sector and sub-sector performance is analysed, dissected, and summarised combining market-leading construction project data and an expert economics team who live and breathe the data day in, day out. We’re also including economic and construction commentary as well.

This report will be exclusively available to Barbour ABI customers and will provide a comprehensive look at the trends within each construction sector, along with comparison charts and graphs to allow the reader to understand how sectors are performing, and where opportunities or threats may lie.

Why is this report just for clients?

Barbour ABI produces many insightful reports for the construction sector completely free of charge. Each month we create and distribute our Snap Analysis that gives an immediate, snappy and visual takeaway for industry colleagues to gain a better understanding of market activity. Deep Insights goes several steps further and gives our valued customers exclusive content that they can benefit from as a result of being a part of the Barbour ABI community.

What will be included in Deep Insights?

Deep Insights will provide a quarterly look back at the industry, split by sector, subsector, and location to provide insight into trends that are occurring. This information also allows the reader to think about future developments that may occur, where there are opportunities for growth are, and make informed business decisions.

The analysis part of the report will be in a similar style to our monthly Snap Analysis report with an analytics focus, including relevant commentary and headlines to help you understand activity at a glance. It also includes our Relative Strength Index which quickly and easily explains the strength of sector performance by month, quarter and year using a 0-100 scale, and our radial graphs to show the levels of activity in different sectors and subsectors by region

We’re also including a summary of the economic and construction environment to help you understand the macro trends that are occurring in more detail. Industry commentator Brian Green who will be producing thought leadership pieces on relevant topics.
