Residential
£5.4 billion worth of residential contracts were awarded in London in 2025, 7.9% higher than the value awarded in 2024. There were hotspots in Hounslow and Richmond upon Thames, and Westminster. There were 14 projects with a contract value of £100 million or above.
Commercial
At £6.8 billion in 2025, the total value of commercial contracts awarded in London was 11.3% higher compared with 2024. There were two hotspots, one coldspot and 20 projects with a contract value of £100 million or above, which is down from the 25 projects awarded contracts in 2024.
Infrastructure
Contract awards for infrastructure projects in London totalled £3.1 billion in 2025, nearly four times higher than the value of contracts in 2024. There were seven hotspots and no coldspots. The largest project was the £400 million Coppermill Lane pumping station, part of Thames Water’s AMP8 investment.
