What is an application deadline?
The application deadline determines how long bidders have to submit an application to participate. The deadline is set by the client in the tender.
How long is the application deadline in the tender procedure?
In restricted procedures, negotiated procedures, and competitive dialogues, the minimum participation period is set at 30 days. In cases of justified urgency, this period can be reduced to as little as 10 days. However, this reduction is only permissible if the client provides a valid justification for the urgency and if the shortened application period is deemed appropriate. The appropriateness of this shortening is assessed based on the complexity of the service and the planning requirements for all necessary applications.
