What is a Tender Result?
In a tender result, the client informs the applicants of all the other bidders and the calculated final amounts of the individual offers.
For private tenders, the result of a tender can be difficult to find if you were not involved. If you took part in the tender you’ll receive a Tender Outcome Letter. In the public sector, tender outcomes are published online.
What is included in a Tender Result?
The tender result will usually include:
- Overview of the contract
- Detailed scope of the work and services required
- Pre-qualification questionnaire that was utilised
- Criteria that was used to evaluate bids and the method used to consider different factors
- Reasons for rejecting unsuccessful tenders, and a thorough explanation to ensure complete visibility
- Post-tender negotiations that may have taken place and the results of those negotiations
