Our content calendar theme for February was economics in construction. As with every month in our 2022 construction Content Calendar, we want to use this topic to provide your business with advice that will improve  your processes, and ultimately, deliver more profit.

Across February, we crunched the numbers of the construction industry in our Snap Analysis monthly review, and interviewed two leading construction economics experts: our own Chief Economist Tom Hall, and Industry Commentator Brian Green. An Interview with Brian Green

In our first February article, we interviewed construction economics expert Brian Green. Brian is a Commentator and Analyst for construction and housing, who has over 30 years’ experience in the industry.

Brian also works extensively with Barbour ABI, writing our yearly Home Improvement Report and penning the 8-part Recreative Construction series in 2021.

Filled with insight, Brian shares his opinion on the major challenges that construction has faced in the past 10 years, as well as factors such as digitalisation, Brexit and decarbonisation, that he sees as being of major importance for the future of the construction industry.
