Plans in for Manchester Student Accommodation
IQ have submitted plans for their new 1220-bed, purpose-built student accommodation towers on Echo Street in Manchester. The scheme consists of three interlinked towers covering 27, 21 and 16 storeys. Construction of the accommodation complex is expected to start in August 2024 and take around 39 months to complete.
Start Date Confirmed for Cambridge Research Building
A start date of August 2023 has been confirmed for the construction of the Granta Park Phase 2, Research and Development Building in Cambridge. The project is estimated to cost £48.7m with and will take 17 months to complete. Offices, landscaping, storage, and 1000+ car parking spaces have all been included as part of the plans.
Go-Ahead Given for 32-Storey Modular Tower
Approval has been given for the construction of a 462-bedroom hostel in Ealing, London. The scheme will also include 16,000sq ft of communal space and is due to begin in August 2023. Facilities will include co-working spaces, gym, dining areas, a library and a cinema. This new complex is expected to take 18 months to complete.
