Customer Success Manager


Infopro Digital group is recruiting for a Customer Success Manager on a permanent basis to join it’s Barbour ABI brand. Barbour ABI is the UK’s leading provider of intelligence and lead generation services that help clients to generate new business opportunities from the construction sector. With more than 80 years of experience and 100+ colleagues based at Cheshire Oaks within our research, sales, client management and marketing teams, the quality of our data collection processes and existing knowledge in researching and tracking construction projects is second to none – we publish the UK Government’s National Infrastructure & Construction Pipeline and provide the Office for National Statistics with critical data to produce its Construction New Orders estimates.

Key task and responsibilities:

As a key member of the Client Management team you will focus on accounts that do not form part of our automatic renewal base and as such is fast paced, and negotiation led. You will work with the support of the wider low value band squad to convince customers of the benefits to continue with Barbour ABI and its portfolio products. This will be achieved through consistent account support and development including understanding key business motivators, strategic discussion and identification of expansion into other portfolio products where appropriate.

Your tasks are as follows:
  • Drive business with lower base clients
  • Responsible for the full sales cycle in conjunction with the external team
  • Provide demonstrations and training for all relevant products within the Barbour ABI group as required, to support the external team
  • Understand customer strategy and objectives relevant to the Barbour ABI portfolio
  • Achieve monthly revenue targets on account renewals
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of portfolio opportunities to achieve growth targets
  • Ensure customer requests and queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively
  • Achieve set activity KPI’s within agreed timescales
  • Provide feedback from customers to the business
  • Understand and communicate product updates to customers where relevant
  • Participate in any training and take personal responsibility for own development.
  • You will report to the Customer Success Team Manager.

  • Outbound sales experience (B2B sales experience preferred)
  • Consultative sales skills and experience
  • Good negotiation and closing skills
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Good IT skills – Microsoft Office package
  • Confident on the phone and willing to make proactive telephone calls / sit face to face meetings
  • 25 days leave rising to 27 after 2 years
